To remove the brake disc, you must first remove the pads, as described above. Then unscrew the bolts securing the caliper bracket on the front axle and remove the bracket. The brake disc is fixed to the hub with one bolt, by unscrewing which you can remove the disc. If necessary, you can knock down the disc with a rubber or plastic hammer. To hold the disc when loosening, you can thread two wheel nuts onto the two hub pins and place a pry bar between them, as shown in fig. 286.
Before installing the old drive, read the recommendations in subsection 12.5.3. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Tighten the disc mounting bolt to a torque of 20 Nm, the caliper bracket mounting bolts to a torque of 175-205 Nm.
