Rear Brake Caliper Repair (Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 903)

Caliper repair (replacing the sealing ring on the inside or the mudguard) it is not recommended to do it on your own. If you suspect a faulty caliper, contact a specialist service station to find out if it can be repaired. Otherwise, the caliper should be replaced.

Note: Different modifications are equipped with rear calipers with brake cylinders of three different diameters: on mod. 208D, 212D (series 901 and 902) — diameter 45 mm; 308D and 312D (903 series) - 52 mm; 412D (904 series) - 44 mm. On the latter, each brake cylinder is equipped with two pistons.
