Sequence of work
1. Remove the protective sleeve, rubber feet and spacer from the stem.
2. Check the stem for scratches and bends. The bent stem should stick when compressed.

3. Gas and oil chambers in the shock absorber 4 (pic. 7.11) separated by a separating piston. Check the oil volume as follows: push the piston up to the level of the separating piston and measure the travel of the rod. New shock absorbers have a backlash of 0-2 mm, the value of the stem path for replacement is 20 mm.
4. Slide the stem to the level set on the vehicle and release. There should be no popping or hissing sounds.
5. Shock absorbers can be replaced one at a time, but it is important to follow the color coding. For old shock absorbers, replacement in pairs is recommended.
