Removal and installation
1. Loosen the nuts securing the high-pressure pipes on the nozzle and distributor, holding the threaded inserts of the nozzles from turning. When installing, do not exceed the tightening torques to avoid loosening the inserts during the next disassembly.
2. Remove the high pressure pipes. Do not twist or bend the pipes. After removing the pipelines, they must be protected from internal contamination. During installation, correctly position the pipelines, check the condition of the sealing cones, if there are surface damage and / or kinks, the pipelines must be replaced. Loosen distributor and do not fully tighten until high pressure lines are secured.
3. Install in reverse order.
4. Check the fuel system for leaks with a short engine start.
Tightening torques for threaded connections
The nuts for fastening the high-pressure pipeline to the nozzle, distributor are tightened in two stages: 22 Nm + 25 Nm.
