Service brake system
When the key is turned in the ignition switch to position 2, the brake warning light on the instrument panel lights up. It should go out when the engine is running. If it lights up while driving, it informs about a drop in the brake fluid level below the norm and / or the limiting wear of the brake linings.
Foot parking brake (left hand drive vehicles)

2. Parking brake release handle.
- Turn on - you need to press the pedal (only when car is parked). When the ignition key is turned to position 2, the parking brake warning light on the instrument panel is on.
- Release - pull the handle, the parking brake is instantly released. The vehicle can start moving immediately.
Hand brake (right hand drive vehicle)
The parking brake lever is located between the driver's and front passenger's seats.
- "tightening" - lever needed "tighten" until the last commit click. When the key is turned in the ignition switch to position 2, the parking brake warning lamp on the instrument panel lights up.
- "letting go" - the lever must be slightly pulled, press the button on the lever and lower the lever down to the stop.
Attention! On long and steep descents, unload the brakes by using the braking action of the engine, to do this, shift into a lower gear.
If you drive without braking for a long time in heavy rain, it may happen that there will be some delay on the first braking and you will have to apply your foot on the brake with more force. Therefore, from time to time, lightly press the service brake pedal while maintaining a distance from the vehicles in front. To avoid corrosion after driving on wet roads, especially if it has been sprinkled with thawing agent, apply the brake firmly before parking the vehicle. The heat dries out the brake discs.
