Cars with a gasoline engine
1. Warning light for a malfunction of the battery recharging system,
2. Signal light for emergency oil pressure in the engine
1. Apply the parking brake.
2. Set the shift lever to the position "N" (automatic transmission selector lever in position "R" or "N").
3. Depress the clutch.
4. Do not press the accelerator pedal.
5. Turn the ignition key to the right until it stops.
6. Release the key as soon as the engine starts.
Diesel vehicles
1. Apply the parking brake.
2. Set the shift lever to the position "N" (automatic transmission selector lever - to position "R" or "N").
3. Depress the clutch.
4. Turn the ignition key to position 2; the heating indicator light comes on. After the heating control lamp goes out, turn the key to the right until it stops.

When the engine is warm, the preheating control lamp lights up only for a short time - you can immediately start the engine.
