Opening
Pull the red release lever inside the vehicle under the instrument panel. The hood opens until the safety hook stops. Press the safety hook upwards. Lift the hood up until the support locks into place.
Closing
Lift the hood slightly. Press the lever upward. Lower the hood and secure it in the lock. Check the lock by pulling on the front edge of the hood.
