Removal



1. Remove the clutch (on cars with manual transmission) or GTR (on cars with automatic transmission).

2. Remove the crankshaft position sensor B15 from the timing belt cover by 8 mm (figure 3.22).

3. Install locking device 3 on the timing belt cover.

4. Unscrew the 2 flywheel mounting bolts.

5. Screw the centering punches 4 into two opposite threaded holes.

6. Remove the locking device 3.

7. Remove flywheel 1 from centering punches 4.

8. Check the flywheel mounting bolts 2. Thread diameter: M14x1.5. New bolt length: 60.0 mm. Allowable length: 61.0 mm.

9. Check the flywheel engagement surface 1.

10. Check the flywheel for damage and wear.

11. Check the flywheel ring gear.

Installation



12. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
