1. If the engine has not yet been removed from the vehicle, remove the clutch or automatic transmission, depending on the design.
2. Holding the flywheel (driving disc) from turning with a wide-blade screwdriver inserted into the ring gear of the flywheel, unscrew the bolts and remove the assemblies from the crankshaft. Keep in mind that on the M 123 engine, the assembly is centered using a pin, and on the M 110 engine, using matching marks.
3. Remove the discs depending on the design.
