Removal the oil pump (Mercedes-Benz E-Class W123)

Location of oil pump mounting bolts

1. Remove the fuel pump where necessary and drain the oil from the engine crankcase.

2. Remove the oil pan bolts from the cylinder block and remove the gasket.

3. Loosen the crankcase mounting bolts and the main bearing cap bolt.
