Disassembly



1. Disassemble the gearbox.

2. Disconnect the differential driven gear 2 (see figure 6.43). Heat gear 2 to approximately 100°C if necessary.

10. Tapered roller bearing.


3. Using a punch, insert elastic pin 3 into shaft 9.

4. Remove shaft 9 from differential housing 4.

5. Using a punch, knock out elastic pin 3 from shaft 9.

6. Rotate the satellite 7 and remove them together with the spherical gaskets 8.

7. Remove the axle gears 6 together with the locking pads 5.

8. Remove roller bearing 10.

Assembly



9. Assembly is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
