Removal



1. Remove the air filter.

2. Loosen bolts 2 securing pulley 1 of the coolant pump (see figure 4.12).

5. Gasket,
6. Central bolt,
7. Locking device.


3. Remove the generator drive belt.

4. Remove pulley 1 of the cooling system pump.

5. Set the piston of the first cylinder to TDC by rotating the crankshaft. The key must be installed upwards.

6. Install the locking device 7 on the flywheel ring gear.

7. Unscrew the central bolt 6 with gasket 5.

8. Remove the crankshaft groove pulley with damper 3 or 4. Check the pulley for ovality and deformation.
  • Permissible pulley ovality: 0.5 mm.
  • Permissible pulley deformation: 0.3 mm.

Installation



9. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Before installing gasket 5 and central bolt 6, they must be lubricated with engine oil.
