2. Remove the cylinder head.
3. Remove the camshaft chain drive cover.
4. Remove the cover from the rear oil seal.
5. Remove the pistons.
6. Remove the crankshaft main bearing caps.
7. Remove the lower bearing shells and lower crankshaft clearance adjusters.

8. Remove the crankshaft from the cylinder block.
9. Remove the upper bearing shells and upper crankshaft end clearance adjusters (see figure 2.61).

10. Check the radial and axial clearances in the crankshaft main bearings.
11. Check the radial clearance in the crankshaft connecting rod bearings.
12. Further installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
