Required special tool: socket wrench driver for spark plugs, e.g. HAZET 2776.
The following wearing parts must be purchased: 4 or 6 matching spark plugs.
1. Remove the spark plugs.
2. Measure the gap between the electrodes with a feeler gauge (2). Set value: 0.8 mm. With new spark plugs, as a rule, the gap between the electrodes is adjusted correctly.
3. To adjust the gap between the contacts, bend the side electrode (1). There is a simple, practical tool for this (3), if not present, tap with a hammer from the side towards the ground electrode.
4. When bending, use a small screwdriver to support the collar of the spark plug thread, never on the center electrode (4), otherwise this electrode will be damaged.
5. Install spark plugs.
