Maintenance work (Mercedes-Benz C-Class W202)

Grouped by the various vehicle design groups, all maintenance work that must be carried out in accordance with the maintenance plan is described below. Accordingly, references are made to the necessary wearing parts and the special tools required. It is recommended that, at least every 4-6 weeks, the tyres be checked and, if necessary, inflated, engine oil and fluid in the cooling system, in the windscreen wiper and washer reservoirs, etc.

Please note: When purchasing spare parts, always have the vehicle registration document and model number with you, as proper identification of the vehicle often requires the exact chassis number, model or year of manufacture (see subsection 1.14).

To be completely sure that you have purchased the correct parts, it is recommended that you remove the old part and take it with you to the spare parts store for comparison, if possible.
