Oil pump device (engine with index 602): 1 - adjusting pin of the chain tensioner; 2 - guide bushing of the chain tensioner; 3 - spring; 4 - oil pump drive chain tensioner; 5 — a bolt of fastening of the oil pump; 6 - guide sleeve; 7 - partition of the oil pump; 8 — a bolt of fastening of a partition of the oil pump; 9 - oil pump housing; 10 - plunger of the oil pump pressure reducing valve; 11 - spring; 12 - thrust bolt of the oil pump pressure reducing valve; 13 - plug; 14 - driven gear of the oil pump; 15 - drive shaft with drive gear; 16 - drive sprocket; 17 - washer; 18 — a bolt of fastening of an asterisk of a drive of the oil pump; 19 - oil pump drive chain lock; 20 - oil pump drive chain
On fig. 119 shows the location of the oil pump. The oil pump can be replaced without dismantling the engine. Separate components of the pump and its drive are shown in fig. 120 on the example of a five-cylinder engine. Usually, in the event of a breakdown, the pump is not repaired, but replaced as an assembly.
Pic. 121. Oil pressure warning lamp
Oil level warning lamp in instrument cluster (the oiler symbol in fig. 121) lights up if the oil level is at the lower mark on the dipstick and indicates that the oil needs to be topped up. Be sure to use a special oil for diesel engines.
Attention! If the oil pressure warning light comes on, stop the engine immediately and top up the engine oil level.
