- Message from the unit (N73) about whether the air conditioning compressor is on or off.
- Signal about the position of the automatic transmission selector from the gear selector unit (N15/5)
- Engine speed signal via separate circuit (L5).
- Coolant temperature sensor signal via a separate line (B11/4).
- Accelerator pedal sensor signal via CAN-C multiplex network (B 37/3).
- Engine speed signal via a separate circuit (L5) to compare the current speed value with the set value.
To ensure optimal fuel combustion, injection can be carried out in three stages.
- Pre-injection.
- Main injection.
- The final stage of injection.
The essence of this improvement is that with a large cyclic quantity of fuel and low engine speed, "hard" combustion of fuel can occur, i.e. the combustion process proceeds too quickly. In order to match the fuel combustion rate with the engine speed and load, the injection process is divided into several stages.
