The pressure in the high pressure fuel pump is regulated by means of a valve (Y74), to which a pulse signal is supplied (on-off) signal from the CDI control unit.
The injection control unit receives data for calculating the control action on the valve from the sensitive fuel pressure sensor in the high-pressure fuel pump (B4/6). The working value of the fuel pressure is determined based on the correction data from the atmospheric pressure sensor built into the unit, the coolant temperature sensor (B 11/4) and the inlet air temperature sensor (B2/5b1).
