When calculating the parameters of the fuel injection process, the position of the accelerator pedal and the operating state of the engine are taken into account (the sum of the parameters measured by the sensors).
The following parameters are calculated:
- fuel pressure in the high pressure fuel system;
- injection start moment;
- injection duration.
Additional specific functions of the injection control system are:
- engine Start Mode Control;
- idle control (750 rpm);
- full load mode control (limiting the amount of fuel injected);
- engine equalization function;
- maximum speed limitation (4200-4600 rpm);
- stop fuel injection when the accelerator pedal is released and the engine speed is above 1500 rpm (forced idle mode).
