Steering wheel angle sensor (Mercedes-Benz Vito W639)

The steering wheel angle sensor (B24/8) is located on the steering column. The sensor signal is proportional to the steering wheel angle. This signal is used to calculate the required trajectory of the vehicle. Comparison of the signal from this sensor with the signals from the lateral acceleration and yaw rate sensors, as well as with data on the vehicle speed and engine traction force, makes it possible to detect the vehicle's deviation from a given position on the road at any given time
