Removing
1. Remove the cylinder head cover 2.
2. Remove ignition coil 3 together with high voltage wires (see fig.3.15).

13. Lower timing cover.
3. Remove the pump of the cooling system 4 without disconnecting the pipes of the system.
4. Disconnect connector 5 from camshaft position sensor 6.
5. Remove attachments from the upper timing cover 7.
6. Remove the EGR valve 8.
7. Remove the chain tensioner 9. This may cause engine oil to leak.
8. Unscrew the bolts 10 securing the upper 7 and lower 13 timing covers. When installing, observe the correct installation of bolts 11.
9. Remove the top timing cover 7.
Installation
10. Installation is made in an order, the return to removal. Lubricate the sealing surfaces with sealant.
