Removing
1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
2. Remove cover 3 of the cylinder head (see fig.3.12).

3. Turn off a nut of fastening of a final collector 2 to the catalyst.
4. Remove spark plugs 1.
5. Install camshafts 4 in the main position.
6. Remove the top timing cover 5.
7. Remove thermostat 6.
8. Turn off a bolt 7 fastenings of pulleys of cranked shafts 8 and remove them.
9. Block the camshafts 4 using the adjusting tool 9.
10. Turn off a bolt 10 of fastening of the top directing lever 11 and remove it.
11. Loosen the bolts 12 securing the cylinder head to the cylinder block 14 (see fig.3.13).

12. Remove the cylinder head 13.
Installation
13. Installation is made in an order, the return to removal. Replace the cylinder head gasket 15. Before installing the cylinder head, lubricate the threaded part and the contact surfaces of the bolts. Tighten the cylinder head bolts following the bolt tightening sequence (see fig. 3.14). Do not install the camshaft pulleys if the adjusting tool is still installed. Check the basic position of the camshafts.
