- put the car on supports;
- disconnect the cardan shaft and unscrew the intermediate support, as described in sec. «Removal and installation of a transmission»;

- while holding the gearbox drive flange, loosen fastening 1 (pic. 193) several turns without turning completely;
- Pull the flange off with a puller. Insert the legs of the puller behind the opposite protrusions of the flange, rest the central rod against the loosened bolt - if it were removed, the shaft thread could be damaged. Remove the puller, unscrew the bolt, remove the washer, remove the flange;
- remove the cuff from the hole. In order not to damage the surrounding parts, you can screw two self-tapping screws into the cuff and remove it with pliers and a screwdriver;
- apply grease between the working edges of the new cuff and press it in using a mandrel of a suitable diameter. Remove excess lubricant;

- install the flange on the splines of the shaft, the washer and tighten the bolt (pic. 194);
- holding the flange from turning, tighten the bolt to 110 Nm;
- insert the cardan shaft and tighten the mounting bolts (60–65 Nm);
- install the propshaft intermediate support (85–90 Nm);
- install a safety bracket under the cardan shaft and tighten the bolts (85–90 Nm).
