The direction and amount of air flow supplied through the central and side nozzles can be adjusted. When the automatic air conditioning system is operating, fully close the side windows and sunroof. Do not close the side and central nozzles 6 and 8 completely.
When you turn on the outdoor lighting, the symbols of the control buttons are highlighted. When the button is pressed, the symbol is highlighted brighter.
Temperature control.
Turn the temperature control knobs to set the desired temperature in the vehicle interior. It is recommended to set the temperature to 22°C.
If the air temperature is not regulated, then there is a malfunction in the system and it is necessary to set the temperature control knobs to the MIN or MAX position.
MIN - heating off
MAX - heating on
To eliminate the malfunction, contact a Mercedes-Benz service station.
Air circulation.
When the lower part of the button is pressed, the air circulation system is switched on and the control lamp on the button lights up.
If an unpleasant odor enters the vehicle interior, turn off the air circulation button.
When the outside temperature is high, the automatic air conditioning system activates the circulation mode, and the air in the passenger compartment cools faster.
The air circulation system will automatically turn off after 30 minutes if the outside temperature is above 7°C and after 5 minutes if the outside temperature is below 7°C.
The air circulation system cannot be turned on when the freeze buttons 24 or off 28 are pressed.

Normal mode.
Depending on the outside temperature, the air supplied to the passenger compartment is heated or cooled.
Cooled air is supplied only through the central and side nozzles 6 and 8.
The heated air is supplied mainly to the lower part of the vehicle interior.
Heated air is also periodically supplied through nozzles 6.
The duration of the air supply to the car windows eliminates their fogging.
At low outside temperatures, air begins to flow into the passenger compartment only after the coolant has warmed up.
Economy mode - ventilation.
Normal mode - cooling.
Economy mode.
Economy mode corresponds to normal operation, but does not cool down (fuel economy).
Cooled air supply up and down.

This mode is used if the windshield is fogged up inside or covered with frost. The system can work both in normal and economy modes.
Heated air is supplied to the windshield, to the lower part of the car interior and to the side windows.
Periodic supply of heated air is also carried out from the central nozzles 6.
Cooled air is supplied from all nozzles.
Supply of heated air up and down.
Air supply to the upper and lower parts of the car.
Defrosting.
When the button is pressed, regardless of the position of the temperature setting lever and the position of switching the air flow, the maximum amount of heated air is supplied to the windshield and through the side nozzles 8 to the side windows.
