Electric front seat adjustment (Mercedes-Benz E-Class W124)

The front seat position switch is located in the doors.

Adjustment can only be made if the key in the ignition switch is in position 1 or 2, and with the front door open – in position 0 or without a key in the ignition switch at all.

Set the headrest at the level of the back of the head. The tilt of the headrest is adjusted manually.

Do not raise the headrest above the limiter.

Memorizing the position of the front seat and headrest.

Two front seat positions can be stored in memory. Set the front seat to the desired position and to store this position, press memory button D, then release it and after 3 seconds press button 1, which stores the first seat position. Similarly, store the second seat position by pressing button 2.



Setting the seat to a pre-memorized position



Press and hold button 1 or 2, the seat will be set to the pre-memorized position. If you release button 1 or 2 during the seat setting process, the seat setting will stop immediately.
