Manual adjustment of the front seat position (Mercedes-Benz E-Class W124)

Warning: Do not adjust the seats while the vehicle is moving.

The longitudinal movement of the seat is performed after lifting the handle located under the front part of the seat. After longitudinal adjustment and releasing the handle, be sure to check that the seat is clearly fixed in the new position.

The tilt of the seat back is adjusted by turning the handle located at the bottom of the seat back.

To adjust the seat height, move lever 3 upwards and in this position of the lever move the seat forward or backwards. When moving the seat forwards, it will rise, and when moving it backwards, it will fall.



To adjust the seat angle, rotate handle 2 forward or backward.

To adjust the headrest height, pull out the handle located at the bottom of the seat back 4 and, turning the handle in one direction or the other, set the required height of the headrests, then press the handle.

The headrests are tilted manually.

Place the headrest at the level of the back of your head.
