The air conditioning system only operates when the engine is running. As the engine speed increases, the air conditioning compressor also increases speed and increases cooling.
When the air conditioner is running, set the air flow switch 3 to at least position 1.
To increase the cooling intensity, set the air flow switch to a higher level. Clear the air intake grille in front of the windshield from snow. Do not block the air bleed holes located in front of the rear window.
Condensed water may appear on the bottom of the vehicle when the air conditioner is running.
When the air conditioner is turned on, the heating of the car interior is automatically adjusted. The temperature in the car interior is maintained at the level set by the temperature control knobs 1 and 2.
Air distribution in the car's interior can be accomplished by turning the air distributor handle 4 and changing the direction of the air flow from nozzles 6 and 8. Handles 5 and 7 change the air flow. Only fresh, unheated air comes from the central nozzles 6.
Rapid air cooling
Set temperature control knobs 1 and 2 to a position corresponding to a temperature no higher than 22°C.

Set the air flow distribution switch 4 to symbol 7.
Turn handles 5 and 7 upwards until they stop.
Close the side windows and sunroof completely.
Fogging on the outside of the windshield
In damp weather, the windshield may fog up from the outside. To eliminate fogging, turn the air flow distribution knob 4 to a position where cool air is blown onto the windshield.
