Display activation
The display is activated when one of the following actions is performed:
- when opening the driver's door;
- when the ignition key is turned to position 1 or 2;
- by briefly pressing one of the control buttons (pic. 29);
- when outdoor lighting is turned on.
The brightness of the display is adjusted when the light is on using the or buttons

Switching the type of display indication is done by pressing more than 1 second menu button 5. In this case, the daily mileage indication is replaced by a digital speed indication. In the same way, the reverse switching is carried out.
To change the display briefly, briefly press the menu button 5.
Speedometer
In some countries, when the legally permitted maximum speed is reached, a warning signal sounds, for example when 120 km/h.
Reset trip odometer
Setting zero on the daily mileage counter is done by holding the button 4 when the daily mileage display is activated.
Time setting
Press the menu button repeatedly 5 until the indication of the digits showing the units and tens of hours begins to flash. The value is set using the or buttons.
Keeping the button pressed changes the value sequentially and continuously.
Minutes are set after pressing button 4 (the minute digits will flash) using the or buttons.

Selecting outdoor temperature units
Activate the display.
Press the menu button 5 repeatedly until the digital digits of the temperature display begin to flash.
- Use the or buttons to select the temperature display in degrees Celsius (°C) or in degrees Fahrenheit (’F).
Selecting speed units
Activate the display.
Press the menu button 5 repeatedly until the digital digits of the speed indicator begin to flash.
- Use the buttons or to select the speed indication in kilometers per hour (km) or miles per hour (miles).
Speed units (and distance) are set for the following functions in one setting:
- total mileage counter;
- daily mileage counter;
- digital speed indicator;
- SPEEDTRONIC systems.
Tachometer
The red marking on the tachometer indicates the overspeed range of the engine.
Avoid operating the engine in the overspeed range. Otherwise, you will damage the engine.
When the red marking is reached, the speed is automatically limited to protect the engine.
Note: Engine braking may cause overspeed. In this case, you need to choose the correct manual transmission gear.

The control system is activated after turning the key in the ignition switch to position 1 or 2,
Using the control system, you can call up information about your vehicle and make settings.
you can call (change) not only the next maintenance period. but also, for example, the language for messages on the instrument cluster and much more.
