Engage first gear or reverse gear.
Turn the ignition key to position 0 and extract it.
The start lock is on.
Blocking the engine start in a car with automatic transmission
Move the automatic transmission control lever to position R.
Turn the ignition key to position 0 and extract it.
The start lock is on.
Attention: on steep slopes, turn the front wheels to the edge of the pavement.
Turn the steering wheel until the steering lock mechanism locks it.
Attention: Removing the key from the ignition lock of a car with automatic transmission is possible only if the gear selector lever is in position R and the brake pedal is not depressed.
Locking the car with a key
Pressing the lock button on the remote control causes the door lock buttons to be lowered. At the same time, the direction indicators will flash three times. The doors, tailgate/tailgate and fuel filler hatch are also locked.
