Parking brake lever installation details
1 - Ventilation duct; 2 - Adjusting nuts; 3 - Bracket; 4 - Parking brake lever; 5 - Nut; X20/10 - Electrical wiring connector
1. Remove the center console (see Chapter Body).
2. Remove the ventilation duct (1).
3. Disconnect the electrical wiring connector (X20/10).
4. Unscrew both adjusting nuts (2).
5. Loosen the nut (5) and remove the parking brake lever (4) together with the carrier bracket (3).
6. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
7. Finally, adjust the parking brake drive using a dynamometer (see Section Adjusting the parking brake drive).
