Parking Brake Shoe Installation Details
1 - Lower tension spring; 2 - Pressure springs; 3 - Brake shoes; 4 - Upper tension spring; 5 - Regulator


1. Remove the rear wheel brake disc (see Section Checking, removing and installing brake discs).

2. Disconnect the lower tension spring (1).

3. Remove the pressure springs (2).

4. Remove the shoes (3) together with the upper tension spring (4) and the regulator (5).

5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order - make sure that the lower tension spring (1) is connected correctly.

6. Finally, check that the parking brake drive is adjusted correctly and make the appropriate adjustments if necessary (see Section Adjusting the parking brake drive).
