Airbag warning light

When the ignition key is turned to position 1 or 2, this indicator light comes on on the instrument panel for approximately 4 seconds, confirming that the safety systems are operational.

If the light does not come on, does not go out, or comes on while driving, then one of the safety systems has failed (airbags, seat belt tensioners or automatic child seat recognition).

It is recommended to immediately contact the nearest workshop, because in the event of an accident, the safety systems may not work or, conversely, they may be triggered inadvertently.

Front passenger airbag deactivation indicator light

When the ignition key is turned to position 1 or 2, the indicator light on the center console comes on for approximately 6 seconds . If it does not light up, then this indicates a malfunction of the front passenger airbag.

The same light comes on when a child seat with automatic recognition is installed in the front seat, confirming that the airbag is deactivated in this case.

If the indicator light with the battery symbol on the instrument panel lights up while the engine is running, this means that the battery is not charging.

The reason for this may be a torn V-belt of the generator drive and other auxiliary units. Considering that the same belt drives the water pump, continuing to move may lead to overheating and damage to the engine.

If the oil level indicator light on the instrument panel is constantly on when the engine is warm and running, this indicates that there is not enough oil in the engine, and its level is near the minimum mark on the dipstick.

In this case, a message about the need to top up the engine oil is also displayed on the display.

The warning light when the engine oil level drops first lights up briefly and then stays on continuously if the oil level is not replenished. If a visual inspection does not reveal a leak that caused the oil to leak, it is enough to simply replenish the oil volume.

The engine oil level can be checked by manually displaying the reading on the display, after placing the car on a horizontal surface.

The level check should be performed no earlier than five minutes after the engine has been turned off.

1. Turn the ignition key to position 2 and wait until the symbols t/ and KZ appear on the display.

2. Press the button twice within a second .

The following messages may appear on the display:
  • OK No need to top up the engine oil.
  • - 1.0 L Fill with one liter of engine oil.
  • - 1.5 L Fill with one and a half liters of engine oil.
  • HI Excessive amount of engine oil has been added and should be removed or drained. If the oil level is above the MAX mark on the dipstick, the engine or catalytic converter may be damaged.

If it is not possible to accurately measure the engine oil level, the symbol flashes on the display .

In this case, the oil level measurement should be repeated after a short period of time. If the repeated attempt is unsuccessful, the oil level can be measured with a dipstick. In such cases, it is recommended to have the system checked in a workshop.
