Airbag warning light
When the ignition key is turned to position 1 or 2, this warning lamp lights up on the instrument panel for about 4 seconds, thus confirming the operation of the security systems.
If the light does not light up, does not go out, or lights up while driving, then one of the security systems has failed (airbags, seat belt tensioners or automatic child seat recognition).
It is recommended that you immediately contact the nearest workshop, because in the event of an accident, the safety systems may not work or, conversely, they may inadvertently work.
Front passenger airbag deactivation warning light
When the ignition key is turned to position 1 or 2, the warning light on the center console lights up for about 6 seconds. If it does not light up, then this is evidence of a malfunction of the front passenger airbag.
The same light comes on when an automatic child seat is installed in the front seat, confirming that the airbag is deactivated.
If the warning light with the battery symbol on the instrument panel lights up when the engine is running, this means that the battery is not being charged.
The reason for this may be a torn ribbed belt for the drive of the generator and other auxiliary units. Due to the fact that the water pump is driven by the same belt, continued movement can lead to overheating and damage to the engine.
If the oil level warning light on the instrument panel is constantly on when the engine is warm and running, then this is evidence that there is not enough oil in the engine, and its level is near the minimum mark on the rod indicator.
In this case, the display also shows a message about the need to top up the engine oil.
When the engine oil level drops, the warning light first lights up for a short time and, if the oil volume is not replenished, it lights up constantly. If a visual inspection does not reveal a leak that led to an oil leak, then it is enough to replenish its volume.
The engine oil level reading can be checked by manually displaying the reading with the vehicle on level ground.
The level check must be carried out no earlier than five minutes after the engine has been switched off.
1. Turn the ignition key to position 2 and wait for the symbols t/ to appear on the display" and KZ.
2 Press the button twice within a second.
The following messages may appear on the display:
- OK Replenishment of engine oil is not required.
- - 1.0 L Fill with one liter of engine oil.
- - 1.5 L Fill with one and a half liters of engine oil.
- HI Too much engine oil has been added and should be withdrawn or drained. If the oil level is above the MAX mark on the dipstick, then the possibility of damage to the engine or catalyst cannot be ruled out.
If it is impossible to accurately measure the engine oil level, the symbol flashes on the display.
In this case, the oil level measurement should be repeated after a short period of time. If the second attempt was unsuccessful, then the oil level can be measured with a dipstick. In such cases, it is recommended to have the system checked in a workshop.
