Examination
1. Unscrew plug 6 on the fuel injection pump adjusting bolt (see figure 4.75, 4.76).

2. Screw the RIV 2 sensor into the adjusting bolt.
3. Screw the TDC sensor 3 into the bracket.
4. Connect the TDC sensor to tester 1 according to the connection diagram.
5. Start the engine and set it to idle speed.
6. Read the fuel injection start value on tester 1. If the obtained value does not correspond to the required one, adjust the injection start.
7. Turn off the engine.
8. Disconnect the tester and sensor.
9. Tighten plug 3.
10. Check the engine oil level and adjust it if necessary. Replace lock 7.
- Fuel injection start: 15±1° after TDC.
