Examination
1. Unscrew plug 6 on the injection pump adjusting bolt (see fig.4.75, 4.76).

2. Screw the RIV 2 sensor into the adjusting screw.
3. Screw the TDC sensor 3 into the bracket.
4. Connect the TDC sensor to tester 1 according to the connection diagram.
5. Start the engine and set the idle speed.
6. Read the value of the start of fuel injection on the tester 1. If the value obtained does not match the required value, adjust the start of injection.
7. Stop the engine.
8. Disconnect the tester and sensor.
9. Tighten plug 3.
10. Check engine oil level and adjust if necessary. Replace retainer 7.
- Start of fuel injection: 15±1°after TDC.
