Swirl injection
To improve the efficiency of the combustion process, swirl injection nozzles are used. Due to this, the emission of unburned products decreased in diesel engines by an average of 40% without compromising other characteristics.
This is achieved by a prechamber with indirect fuel injection. Along with the injection direction, an important role is played by a special guide channel mounted in the prechamber, due to the shape and location of which the air compressed by the cylinder and entering the prechamber forms a strictly vortex flow. Fuel is injected in the direction of flow at an angle of 5°. The glow plug is located in the downstream part of the flow and does not interfere with the combustion process.
