0

Sequence of works

1. To remove the brake disc, place the vehicle on supports and secure it.

2. Remove the wheel.

3. Remove the caliper and hang it on a wire so that the brake hose is not stretched.

4. Remove the Allen bolt that secures the brake disc.

5. Release the parking brake if the rear brake disc is being removed.

6. Carefully tap the brake disc with light blows from a rubber-headed mallet and remove it from the hub.

7. Check the fastening of the brake shield on the hub body, tighten the bolts if necessary.

8. Install the new disc on the hub and tighten its mounting bolt with an internal Allen key. Pay attention to the correct fit of the bushings.

9. On the rear wheels, apply a small amount of heat-resistant copper grease to the seat on the rear axle flange.

10. After installation, clean new discs with solvent to remove the protective coating.

11. Install the caliper with new self-locking bolts (tightening torque for front wheels 115 Nm, rear – 50 Nm).

12. Then carry out the work in the reverse order of disassembly. Tighten the wheel mounting bolts to a torque of 110 N·m.
