Front cable
Attention! When installing the front parking brake cable, you must use a new bolt to secure the cable to the compensation plate.

1. Remove the driver's seat and center console.
2. Disconnect the cable from the parking brake pedal.
3. Disconnect the return spring and remove it from the compensation plate (see fig. Arrangement of parts of the compensating mechanism of the parking brake).
4. Remove the bolt securing the back of the front cable to the leveling plate. When installing, a new bolt must be used.
5. Mark the location of the front parking brake cable, remove it from the mounting brackets and retainers, and remove it.
Rear cable
Attention! When installing the rear cable, you must use a new cable-to-hub mounting bolt.

1. Remove the brake shoes of the parking brake, the corresponding wheel and disconnect the end of the cable from the sliding mechanism.
2. Remove the bolt securing the cable sheath to the hub and remove the cable from the back of the brake shield (see fig. Arrangement of a bolt of fastening of a back part of a lay brake to a fastener of a back nave).
3. Disconnect the return spring and remove it from the compensation plate bracket.
4. Remove the bracket that secures the front of the parking brake cable sheath to the bracket on the underbody. Disconnect the cable from the compensation plate and remove it from under the car (see fig. An arrangement of bracket of fastening of a cover of a back cable of a parking brake).
Installation
Front cable
1. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal. Use a new bolt to secure the back of the cable to the leveling plate. Adjust the parking brake.
Rear cable
1. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal. Use a new bolt to secure the cable to the hub fastener. Adjust the parking brake.
