- Remove the protective cap of the central hub nut.
- Having braked the wheel securely, loosen the central nut of the rear hub.
- Remove the wheel, having first placed the car on a jack (lift).
- Remove the disc brake caliper by unscrewing the mounting screws (4) (drawing VN 5,023), and hang it away from the work area.
- Disconnect and remove the drive shaft (2).
- Having securely fixed the lever using the lever support, loosen the screws (4) and (5).
- Remove the shock absorber.
- Fix the spring (2) (drawing VN 5.022) suspension using a tensioning device (1).

- Slowly lower the stand and remove the spring (8).
- Unscrew the mounting bolts (9) and (10), remove the lever.
Installation should be carried out in reverse order.

Tightening torques
Nut of the bolt securing the rear arm to the subframe: 160 Nm + 120°.
Central hub nut: 165Nm + 60°.
Bolted connections of the shock absorber to the body and to the suspension arm: 130 Nm.
Screw for fastening the brake pad wear sensor to the caliper 9 Nm.
Bolt for fastening the caliper to the rear suspension arm (M12x1.5): 106 Nm.
