Rear stabilizer (Mercedes-Benz Vito W639)

The rear anti-roll bar is designed to counteract the vehicle's roll when cornering or driving on a slope. The rear anti-roll bar interacts with the front anti-roll bar. Overall, this system is designed to improve vehicle handling.

The rear stabilizer is attached to the car body at two points (2) using rubber bushings and mounting brackets.

Removal and installation

- Raise the car.

- Disconnect the stabilizer link from the stabilizer.

- Unscrew the stabilizer mount from the bottom of the body (rear subframe).

- Remove the rear stabilizer.

- Installation is carried out in reverse order.
