VN 5.024 1. Bushing; 2. Wheel hub; 3. Bearing ring; 4. Retaining ring; 5. Brake disc protective plate; 6. Old bearing; 7. New bearing


Removal



- Remove the rear suspension arm.

- Disconnect the handbrake cable.

- Disconnect the rear speed sensor.

- Remove the bushing (1) (drawing VN 5.024).

- Clamp the rear suspension arm in a vice.

- Remove the hub (2).

- Clamp the hub (2) in a vice.

- Remove the inner bearing ring (3) from the hub using a puller.

- Remove the retaining ring (4).

- Remove the protective plate (5) of the brake disc.

- Press out the outer ring (6) of the old bearing.

- Clean the bearing seat.

- Press in the new bearing ring.

- Then installation is carried out in the reverse order.
