Removal
1. Remove the cylinder head cover 1 (see figure 5.11).

1. Cylinder head cover,
2. Timing chain tensioner,
3. Seal,
4. High pressure fuel pump,
5. Bolt,
6. Front cylinder head cover,
7. Retainer,
8. Upper guide lever,
9. Vacuum pump.
2. Remove the timing chain tensioner 2.
3. Remove the fuel pump 4.
4. Unscrew bolts 5 securing the front cover 6 of the cylinder head.

5. Press and remove the retainer 7 of the upper guide arm 8. Do not remove the upper guide arm.
6. Disconnect the front cover 6 from the cylinder head.
Installation
7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
