Removal
1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
2. Remove the air filter adapter tube.
3. Remove clamp 18 securing compressed air supply tube 1 to mixing chamber 2 and disconnect tube 1 (see figure 5.7).

4. Disconnect the vacuum tube from the vacuum pump 3.
5. Unscrew bolt 4 securing the fuel filter bracket 10 to the mixing chamber 2.
6. Unscrew bolt 11 securing the rear bracket of the mixing chamber 2.

7. Disconnect vacuum tubes 5, 6 and 7.
8. Unscrew nut 13 securing exhaust gas recirculation valve 8.
9. Unscrew bolts 14 securing mixing chamber 2 to intake manifold 15.
10. Remove the intake manifold 15 together with the exhaust gas recirculation valve 8.
Installation
11. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Replace seals 17 and self-locking nuts 13 with gasket.
