Decorative panel of the cylinder head cover (Mercedes-Benz Vito W638)

Removal

1. Remove the mixing chamber with the EGR valve 1 (see figure 5.5).

6. Decorative panel of the cylinder head cover,
7. Crankcase ventilation tube.

2. Unscrew bolts 2 securing bracket 3 to cylinder head cover 4.

3. Unscrew bolts 5 securing the decorative panel to the cylinder head cover 6.

4. Remove the decorative panel of the cylinder head cover 6.

Installation

5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Before installation, make sure that the crankcase ventilation tube 7 is installed correctly.
