Removal
1. Remove the guide lever 3 (see figure 5.15).

2. Set the piston of the first cylinder to the TDC position.
3. Disconnect the wiring connector from the Y75 electronic fuel shut-off valve.
4. Unscrew bolt 6 of bracket 5 securing the Y75 fuel shut-off valve to the timing chain cover.

5. Remove the timing chain tensioner 1.
Installation
6. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Replace seal 2. Fill the timing chain tensioner with engine oil before installation. Install the timing chain tensioner with the stop pin down until it stops. Using a press or punch, slowly press in the thrust pin 7-10 times. Once installed, the tensioner should be compressed slowly and evenly using only significant force.
