Removal



1. Turn off the ignition.

2. Remove the vacuum pump.

3. Disconnect the wiring connector from the Y73 shut-off valve (see figure 5.59).

4. Disconnect the delivery pipe 4 from the high-pressure fuel pump 7.

5. Remove bracket 1 of the high-pressure fuel pump 7. Do not disconnect fastening 8 of the delivery pipe.

6. Disconnect the drain 2 and pressure 9 fuel lines from the high-pressure fuel pump 7. Replace the sealing ring.

7. Disconnect the fuel drain 2 line and electrical wiring below the high pressure fuel pump 7.

8. Unscrew bolts 10 securing the high-pressure fuel pump 7.

9. Remove the high pressure fuel pump 7.

Installation



10. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Replace seal 6. Wipe the sealing surfaces.
