Removal
1. Turn off the ignition.
2. Remove the fuel line 6 (figure 3.34).
3. Remove the hydraulic pipe mounting bracket from the cylinder head.
4. Wipe the surface near the pump injector 1.
5. Remove the engine wiring along with the start/stop switches from the cylinder head (only if the pump-injector of the first or second cylinders will be removed).
6. Disconnect wiring connectors 7 from unit injector 1.
7. Loosen bolts 5.
8. Install puller 8 on unit injector 1.
9. Remove the pump-injector 1 using the puller 8.
10. Unscrew bolts 5 and remove pump-injector 1.
11. Replace sealing rings 2, 3 and 4 on unit injector 1.
Installation
12. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
