Removal
1. Turn off the ignition and disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
2. Remove the service cover.
3. Remove the gearbox protective cover.
4. Remove shield 6 from the exhaust manifold (figure 3.32).
5. Remove shield 9 from the turbocharger.
6. Disconnect pipe 1 from brake valve 3.
7. Disconnect the compressed air supply pipe 8 from the engine brake cylinder.
8. Unscrew nuts 4 securing brake valve 3.
9. Remove the brake valve 3.
Installation
10. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
