Removal
1. Clamp the suction and discharge hoses to prevent gasoline from leaking.
2. Disconnect the hoses.
3. Disconnect the wire seal from the pump insulation flange and move the wire aside.
4. Unscrew the pump mounting nuts.
5. Remove the pump.
6. Remove the insulating flange.
Installation
The fuel pump is installed in the reverse order of removal.
1. Before installation, check the condition of the seals.
2. Replace damaged seals and isolation flange. Note that the pusher retaining ring must face the pump.
