A - Models produced since 1.12.00; B - Models produced up to 11/30/00; 1 - Protective screen; 2 - Fuel supply line; 3 - Fuel line; 4 - Electrical wiring connectors; 5 - Fuel pump; 6 - Clamps


1. Turn on the auxiliary battery and connect it to the standard battery, then disconnect the negative cable from the latter.

8 — Positive wire terminal of the module
9 — Terminal of the negative wire of the module
W10 - Battery ground


2. Jack up the car and place it on supports.

3. Remove the rear underbody protection screen (1).

4. Clamp the fuel hoses (2 and 3) and disconnect them from the fuel pump (5).

5. Disconnect the electrical wiring (4) from the pump (5).



6. Loosen the mounting clamps (6) and remove the fuel pump assembly.

7. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

8. Finally, clear the memory of the on-board diagnostic system processor (see Chapter Engine electrical systems).
