Fuel Distribution Line Installation Details

Fuel Distribution Line Installation Details
1 - Power unit cover with built-in air cleaner; 2 - Service valve; 3 - Retainer; 4 - Plastic cover; 5 - Fuel line; 6 - Fuel supply line; 7 - Bolts; Y62 - Fuel Injector


1. Remove the power unit cover with built-in air cleaner (1) (see Section Removal and installation air intake tract components).

2. Unscrew the lock (3).

3. Remove the plastic cover (4).

4. Release the pressure in the fuel system through the service valve - prepare to collect the displaced fuel.

5. Unbolt the fuel supply line (6).

6. Loosen the mounting bolts (7) and remove the fuel distribution line (5) complete with injectors (Y62) from the intake manifold.

7. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

1. Remove the fuel distribution line (17).

2. Remove the injectors (Y62).

3. Installation is carried out in the reverse order - if necessary, replace the sealing rings. Before installation, the sealing rings should be lubricated with oil. Make sure that the anti-rotation locks (16/7) snap into place on the rectangular attachments (arrow).
