Removing
Fuel line
A – a sealing ring of a fuel atomizer; B – bolts of fastening of the fuel line; C - return fuel hose; D - fuel supply hose; E - vacuum hose of the throttle body; F – an electric socket of a fuel atomizer; G - fuel pressure regulator
Fuel line and fuel injectors
A - fuel injector body; B – the top sealing ring of a fuel atomizer; C - the lower sealing ring of the fuel injector; D - fastening bracket; E - fuel line; F - fuel injector fastening element
1. Relieve the pressure in the fuel system.
2. Remove the ground wire from the battery.
3. Loosen the clamps securing the hose connecting the air flow meter to the intake manifold and remove the hose located above the cylinder head.
4. Unscrew the connecting nuts and disconnect the supply and return fuel lines from the fuel line (see fig. fuel line).
5. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the fuel pressure regulator.
6. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the fuel injectors. Release the wiring harness from the brackets on the fuel line.
7. Unscrew the mounting bolts and remove the fuel line together with the fuel injectors from the intake manifold. Remove the lower o-rings from the fuel injectors.
8. Remove the mounting brackets and remove the fuel injectors from the fuel line. Remove the top o-rings from the fuel injectors (see fig. Fuel line and fuel injectors).
Installation
1. When installing the fuel injectors, make sure that their fixing bracket is aligned with the corresponding tab.
2. Before installing the fuel injector, install a new upper o-ring after lubricating it with a thin film of oil (see fig. Self-levelling rear suspension elements).
3. Installation of the fuel line with fuel injectors is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following points.
4. When installing, it is recommended to replace the lower O-rings of the fuel injectors.
5. When installing, apply a light coat of engine oil to the lower fuel injector O-rings.
6. Connect the fuel hoses to the fuel line. At the same time, keep in mind that the fuel supply hose is attached to the lower branch pipe of the fuel line.
7. Tighten the fuel line to intake manifold bolts to the correct torque.
