1. Relieve pressure in the fuel system.

2. Remove the ground cable from the battery.

3. Loosen the clamps securing the hose connecting the air flow meter to the intake manifold and remove the hose located above the cylinder head.

4. Unscrew the union nuts and disconnect the fuel supply and return lines from the fuel line (see fig. Fuel line).

5. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the fuel pressure regulator.

6. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the fuel injectors. Release the wiring harness from the mounting brackets on the fuel line.

7. Unscrew the mounting bolts and remove the fuel line together with the fuel injectors from the intake manifold. Remove the lower sealing rings from the fuel injectors.

8. Remove the mounting brackets and remove the fuel injectors from the fuel rail. Remove the upper O-rings from the fuel injectors (see Fig. Fuel line and fuel injectors).

Installation

1. When installing fuel injectors, make sure that their retaining bracket is aligned with the corresponding protrusion.

2. Before installing the fuel injector, install a new upper sealing ring, after lubricating it with a thin layer of oil (see fig. Elements of self-leveling rear suspension).

3. Installation of the fuel line with fuel injectors is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following points.

4. During installation, it is recommended to replace the lower fuel injector sealing rings.

5. When installing, apply a thin coat of engine oil to the lower fuel injector O-rings.

6. Connect the fuel hoses to the fuel line. Keep in mind that the fuel supply hose is attached to the lower connection of the fuel line.

7. Tighten the fuel line to intake manifold mounting bolts to the specified torque.
